What Vapor Keys (Kontakt) Does
Karanyi Sounds multisampled Yamaha DX7 and TX81Z FM sources alongside Arturia MicroFreak sounds, producing electric-piano and layered vapor-style keys. The capture chain includes Neve 1073, Roland Dimension D, and Studer A800 tape equipment.
Sound and Workflow
Load the key-by-key 24-bit/48 kHz samples as 60-plus Kontakt presets; effects and layer controls let you shape the parts. It requires full Kontakt 5.7.3 or later and does not work in the free Kontakt Player.
Analog Gold Take
Choose this when you want playable sampled FM keys colored by studio hardware, rather than a synth that models FM synthesis directly.
