The Attic 3 brings 24 individually sampled vintage synths and electronic keyboards into Kontakt Player. Soniccouture sampled each key, then added modeled filters and envelopes to preserve and shape each instrument’s character. The 24 GB library includes 600 presets and is NKS compatible.
The sources range from string machines and transistor organs to early digital instruments. Named examples include the EMS Synthi AKS, Yamaha CS-15, Casio CZ-101 and Cheetah MS-800. It runs in Kontakt 7 or 8, including the free Kontakt Player version 7.10 or later, so you can play the sampled instruments inside a compatible DAW.
Choose The Attic 3 when you want playable sounds from a broad set of specific, sometimes overlooked vintage instruments rather than one generic retro-synth preset bank. Its per-key sampling matters if the small differences between notes are part of the character you are after.
