What Super Audio Cart 2 Does
Impact Soundworks packs more than 6,000 sources spanning vintage console, handheld, computer, and sound-chip families into a playable instrument. The sounds were recreated rather than ripped from games; where appropriate, they were played back through original hardware.
Sound and Workflow
Use its four-layer synth engine to build chiptune, PCM, and late-1990s console-style sounds. It requires Kontakt or the free Kontakt Player version 7.10.7 or later.
