String Machines 2

What String Machines 2 Does

UVI restored and recorded 62 string synthesizers, including Solina, Freeman, and Roland RS-series models. It organizes 46,000 samples into 842 sounds and 355 presets across a dual-layer instrument.

Sound and Workflow

Blend two hardware sources, then shape each layer with filters, envelopes, modulation, and ensemble effects. The product runs in UVI Workstation or Falcon and requires an iLok account; the free UVI player is not the instrument itself.

Analog Gold Take

Choose this for documented source-machine string textures rather than another broad vintage-keyboard compilation.
