What Space Age 555 Does
Audiority models the Roland Chorus Echo RE-501 / SRE-555 tape-echo design, including six echo modes, BBD chorus, and spring reverb. Its age, motor-speed, noise, and feedback adjustments extend the original-style controls.
Sound and Workflow
Use it for moving analog echoes and spring ambience, with tempo sync and ducking available for modern sessions. This is software modeling, not a recording made on the original unit.
Analog Gold Take
Pick this when you want the combined tape, chorus, and spring-reverb path of the late-1970s Chorus Echo.
