What Porta.pre Does

Porta.pre emulates the 424 MkI cassette-multitrack preamp, from clean color to overdrive and fuzz. A one-knob drive control and auto gain keep adjustments quick.

Sound and Workflow

Put it on guitars, drums, bass, or synths for mid-forward preamp bite. It models the input-stage character, not cassette tape wear or wow and flutter.

Analog Gold Take

Choose it for 424-style front-end grit when a full cassette transport emulation would be more than you need.
