OZ2 ● organ

What OZ2 ● organ Does

OZ2 ● organ is a Kontakt instrument built from 2,969 samples of a 1971 Ace Tone GT-7 organ. Its 130 patches cover original-style organ settings, leads, short plucks and heavily processed textures. Up to five captured speaker, room, spring, mini-Leslie and direct signals can be blended in a patch.

Sound and Workflow

The sound-design patches push the source organ through amps, tape echoes and other external gear, opening up drones and cinematic keys beyond a traditional organ part. The current version is 2.1 and needs the full retail version of Kontakt 6.4.2 or later; it will not run in the free Kontakt Player.

Analog Gold Take

Choose OZ2 ● organ if you want both playable early-1970s organ character and stranger tape-colored textures from the same sampled instrument.
