Overvoltage turns sampled transistor organs into 95 Kontakt instruments built from 1,390 samples. Patches range from straightforward electric-organ keys to more aggressive, processed textures. Modwheel-controlled dynamics and effects, vibrato, filters and envelopes give producers hands-on ways to shape the sound.
Wrongtools ran the source organs through unconventional gear including hacked telephone preamps, car speakers, amps and Raytheon tubes. That capture process gives the library its rougher organ colors before any additional Kontakt sound shaping. Version 1.1 requires full retail Kontakt 6.4.2 or later; the free Kontakt Player is not supported.
Go for Overvoltage when clean organ samples feel too polite and you want already-processed electric keys or dense, gritty pads.
