What Origin Does
Origin puts a real-time resampler and bitcrusher beside tape saturation, noise, movement, and chorus controls. Cymatics describes its saturation as modeled from vintage tape machines and its chorus as Juno-106-inspired.
Sound and Workflow
Use the resampler filters for softened, reduced-rate color, then add tape-style wobble with the Movement knob. It is software processing, not audio captured on a physical tape machine.
