Lo-Fi Junkie

What Lo-Fi Junkie Does

Soundsdivine made Lo-Fi Junkie as a 160-sound preset set for u-he Diva. Its palette includes dusty pads, distorted synth sounds, vintage string pads, trippy delays and fuzzy soundscapes. Load the sounds in Diva when you want a starting point for hazy keys or atmospheric synth parts.

Sound and Workflow

The maker cites lo-fi guitar pedals as an inspiration for the bank, rather than claiming its sounds were recorded to tape. Its product preview plays through individual presets, so you can hear the character before buying. Because these are Diva presets, the u-he Diva synthesizer is required to use them.

Analog Gold Take

Choose this if you already own Diva and want ready-made lo-fi synth colors; it is not an audio effect that degrades existing tracks.
