What Faded Reels Does
Faded Reels is a Native Instruments Expansion made with MSXII Sound Design for lo-fi production in Maschine. It includes 50 Maschine kits, 59 Battery kits, 295 loops, 342 drum samples and 427 one-shots. Maschine users also get 20 sample instruments, nine projects and more than 251 patterns.
Sound and Workflow
MSXII says the sounds were shaped with tape, degradation processing, hardware and outboard equipment, with sources including Rhodes keys, vintage synths and live drums. Open the prebuilt kits and projects in Maschine to work with their dusty drums and melodic textures. The full Expansion is different from the samples-only product and the separate MPC edition.
Analog Gold Take
Choose the full Faded Reels Expansion for ready-mapped Maschine kits and projects, not the similarly named samples-only or MPC versions.
