What Elektron Digitakt II Does
Digitakt II is a 16-track stereo sampler and digital drum computer with 24-bit, 48 kHz conversion, 400 MB sample memory, 20 GB storage, and up to 1,024 samples per project. Each track supports swappable filters, three assignable LFOs, and stereo or mono samples.
Sound and Workflow
Use per-track bit reduction, sample-rate reduction, overdrive, delay, reverb, and chorus to reshape samples, then sequence them with trig modes, kits, Euclidean sequencing, and up to 128 steps. Its processing is digital; the maker does not describe an analog overdrive circuit.
