Arturia recreates the Casio CZ-101 and CZ-1000 phase-distortion synth architecture, including their original parameters and SysEx patch import. It adds waveform editing, modulation, effects, and a library of more than 450 presets.
Play the included bass, lead, key, and pad sounds or build your own phase-distortion patches. The CZ approach is distinct from the Yamaha DX7’s frequency-modulation method.
Choose CZ V for the glassy or buzzy Casio digital-synth route when a DX7-style FM instrument is not the sound you want.
