Chromium Love

What Chromium Love Does

Chromium Love is a sound pack by Tom Furse for the Elektron Digitakt. It contains 273 samples across hits, loops, chords and textures, formatted as mono WAV files. Elektron also lists compatibility with Digitakt II and other samplers that accept WAV files.

Sound and Workflow

The sounds were processed through a Nakamichi cassette player, giving this pack a documented tape source rather than a generic lo-fi label. Load them on Digitakt for worn sample-based rhythms, chords and atmospheric layers. Elektron provides on-page audio demos and a downloadable demo pack for auditioning the material.

Analog Gold Take

Pick Chromium Love if you want ready-to-load Digitakt samples with a disclosed cassette process instead of a pack that merely claims vintage color.
